Each pattern piece (front, back, sleeves, collars, facings) undergoes a rigorous inspection before being scanned:

• Verification of the straight-line essential for the garment's straightness.
• Checking that all of the mounting notches and buttonhole markings.
• Consistency of seam allowances (hems, 1-cm seams, overlock).

The pattern piece is secured to our scanning table. Using a 16-button optical crosshair cursor (puck), the patternmaker captures corner points, curve points, notches, and annotation lines with a resolution of one-hundredth of a millimeter.

In our textile CAD software, the patternmaker smooths curves, checks for parallelism, and performs the Inspection of seam development (For example: check that the sleeve cap fits perfectly into the armhole.).

Application of morphological grading rules (AFNOR standards or your brand’s own grading system). Each key point is adjusted according to a specific vector to ensure that the fit and comfort remain perfectly consistent from size 34 to 48.
